ROAR Women in Music Photographic Exhibition

Presented by the City of Port Phillip for ROAR FEST

Through iconic portraits and performances captured by Australia’s best female music photographers the ROAR Exhibition celebrates women, non-binary and Gender Non-Conforming musicians both on and off the stage.

This FREE exhibition features the works of five renowned Australian music photographers, alongside reproductions from the Australian Performing Arts Collection and local herstory curated by music sub-culture researcher Melynda von Wayward.
Showcasing musicians at all career stages while highlighting pop-culture and sub genres of Australian music from the 1980's onwards, it is in these moments that we see the breath and power upon which the industry has been built.
