ROAR FEST – Celebrating Women in Music

Guitar right

Get ready for a groundbreaking celebration of music, empowerment, and community as ROAR FEST – Celebrating Women in Music takes centre stage on the 2025 Labour Day long weekend, March 8–9, in Melbourne’s historical musical heart in bayside St Kilda.

The Festival will culminate in a headline concert at the historic National Theatre on Sunday 9th March, 2025, featuring some of Australia’s most legendary female performers.

With a vision to see “more women on and off the stage”, ROAR FEST is more than a music festival—it’s a movement designed to drive change and inspire action through music, art and meaningful connection.

Coinciding with global International Women’s Day celebrations, ROAR FEST shines a powerful spotlight on women in the Australian music industry, paving the way for emerging female artists and industry workers to stand alongside role models, fostering creativity, representation and growth and provides a platform to have their powerful voices heard.

Leading the charge as official ROAR Ambassadors are three of Australia’s finest female performers: Kate Ceberano, Tania Doko (Bachelor Girl) and Ella Hooper (Killing Heidi). These icons will lend their talent, insights and unparalleled passion to this groundbreaking initiative, both on and off the stage.
